Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

1. Adjust clutch pedal height, dimension "H" in Fig. 1, as follows:

a. 8.94-9.33 inches.

2. Adjust clearance between pedal stopper bracket and threaded end of clutch interlock switch with clutch pedal fully depressed. Clearance should be

0.012-0.039 inch.

3. Measure clutch pedal freeplay as shown in Fig. 1, dimension "A". Clutch pedal freeplay is the sum of play between piston and piston rod. Clutch

pedal freeplay should be as follows:
a. 0.039-0.059 inch.

4. Adjust clutch pedal freeplay by rotating the clutch master cylinder pushrod inward or outward until the specified freeplay is obtained. After

completing freeplay adjustment, tighten locknut.

5. After the above adjustments have been completed, cycle clutch pedal several times to ensure clutch linkage operates smoothly without binding.
