Idler Pulley: Service and Repair

DRIVE BELTS

Drive Belt Auto Tensioner and Idler Pulley

REMOVAL
1. Remove air duct and resonator assembly. Refer to See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and

Repair/Removal And Installation.

2. Remove drive belt. Refer to See: Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and Installation.
3. Remove engine cooling fan assembly (motor driven type). Refer to See: Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Removal And

Installation (Motor Driven Type).

4. Remove drive belt auto tensioner and idler pulley using power tool.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
