REMOVAL
1. Release fuel pressure. Refer to See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and
General Diagnostics/Fuel Pressure Check.
2. Remove intake manifold collector. Refer to See: Intake Manifold Collector/Removal and Installation.
3. Remove fuel tube and fuel injector assembly. Refer to See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Rail/Service and
Repair/Removal And Installation.
4. Loosen nuts and bolts with power tool in reverse order as shown to remove intake manifold.
5. Remove gaskets.
CAUTION:
Cover engine openings to avoid entry of foreign materials.
