Add the foam into the groove of the drip rail molding, along the length of the roof line, A to C pillar (see Figure 10). This will increase the contact
force between the door and the weatherstrip, sealing the air gap.

With doors closed, run a business card in-between the doors and the drip rail molding from A-pillar to C-pillar to determine if the clearance is
O.K. Adjust accordingly by adding or decreasing the thickness of the foam insert.
NOTE:
O.K. is some resistance along entire path, N.G. is free to move (no resistance) or does not move at all (too much resistance).
Recheck:
Test the vehicle as described in "Verify" above to ensure the repair is complete.
