1996 PATHFINDER WHEEL LUG NUT CORROSION

APPLIED VEHICLE: 
1996 Pathfinder (R50)

SERVICE INFORMATION

If the black-finish lug nuts on a 1996 Pathfinder have surface corrosion and/or pitting, replace the black lug nuts on all four wheels with chrome lug nuts
P/N 40224-V5510 (total of 24 lug nuts).

The corrosion/pitting affects only the lug nut surface plating and looks like a white powder coating.

This incident affects only lug nuts with the black finish.
