Remove hose "A". Reroute hose "B" as shown (see Figures 1 and 2). Adjust the yellow lines of the hose to the white lines of the cooler tube.

NOTE: 

This routing will remove the A/T fluid cooler from the A/T cooling circuit.

Install hose "C" (P/N 21631-0W000) in place of hose "A" with two new hose clamps (see Figure 2).

IMPORTANT: 

There are white marks on both ends of hose "C". Position the white line and mark "V" on the A/T side. Position the white line and mark "R" on the
radiator side.

On hose "B", position the clamps so they do not rest in the previous clamp marks (see Figure 3).

Tighten the hose clamps carefully. Do not over-tighten; 3-5 threads should be visible (see Figure 3).

7.

Replace the A/T control unit with the countermeasure part from the Parts Information table.

8.

Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature. Check the hoses for leakage and repair as required.
