Before you perform any other diagnosis/repair, first check wire harness connection M502/M601 (see Figure 1).

Make sure connectors M502/M601 are securely snapped together.

To check this connection, you'll have to remove the Glove Box Assembly.

Refer to section IP of the Electronic Service Manual for the Glove Box Assembly removal instructions.
