Squeeze the handles on the Rivnut Gun until they are completely closed.

NOTE:

You'll have to squeeze very hard.

Remove the mandrel from the rivnut by turning the adjusting knob left (counterclockwise).

Apply strips of self adhesive urethane foam pad around the entire front opening of the new support bracket.

Use foam pad P/N 76268-9E005 from the Squeak and Rattle Kit.

Cut strips of foam about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch wide.
