Determine which DTC code is stored in the vehicle's ECM by performing CONSULT-II self-diagnosis. See Figure 1 for an example of the
CONSULT-II self-diagnosis printout.

Replace the incident bank(s) rear oxygen sensor(s) as indicated by the DTC on the CONSULT-II self-diagnosis printout (see the Parts
Information chart for correct part numbers). See Figure 2 shown for sensor/sensor harness connector locations.

Perform the ECM Part Number Identification and Update procedure below. ECM Part Number Identification and Update:

Determine the vehicle's ECM Part Number. The ECM P/N is found on top of the CONSULT-II self-diagnosis printout (see Figure 3), or by
CONSULT ECM P/N Selection.
