Installation is the reverse of disassembly. Be sure to use only the new nuts supplied in the kit as they are designed for replacement after each use.
Torque the strut insulator to body nuts to 39-54 N.m (29-40 ft-lbs). Torque the strut to spindle nuts to 151-165 N.m (111-122 ft-lbs). Torque the
strut to stabilizer bar nuts to 83-103 N.m (61-76 ft-lbs).

Reconnect the electrical connector for the strut, if equipped.

Repeat the entire procedure on the opposite side of the vehicle.

G. Rear Differential Procedure

REPAIR G. Rear Differential Procedure

Please check Service Comm to verify that this has not already been done under normal warranty. If the differential has been replaced under normal
warranty, then no further action is required. If the vehicle has less than 20,000 miles and is in the applied VIN range, replace the differential. If the
vehicle has over 20,000 miles, road test to check for any differential noise.

Position the vehicle on the hoist and raise it off the ground slightly.

2.

Release the parking brake and place the transmission in Neutral.

3.

Drain the oil from the rear differential and properly dispose of it. Do not reuse the old differential oil.
