Put mating marks on the fuel hoses for correct reinstallation, then disconnect them.

Remove the original fuel gauge sending unit and install the replacement part listed below. Install the part as shown in Figure 2.
CAUTION:
Always replace the fuel gauge sending unit o-ring and fuel hose clamps.

Connect the harness connectors and fuel hoses. Do not overtighten the clamps.
9.
Start the engine and check for leaks before reinstalling the inspection hole cover.
