Touch BACK on the CONSULT screen. Then touch BACK again, and perform the following procedure:

Touch MAP. Then touch BARO. Listen for a "click" sound from the MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve (see Figure 1 for location). Operation of
the MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve can also be detected by feel when switching it between MAP and BARO using CONSULT.

Based on the result of the test in step 5:

A.

If the MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve operates, replace it with P/N 14956-38U01. Proceed to Repair Confirmation below.

NOTE:  Do not use any lubricant when installing the vacuum hoses.

B.

If the MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve does not operate, check the electrical harness and connections using service manual diagnostic
procedures for DIC P1105 and/or DIC P0105. Then proceed to step 7.
