Tie the propeller shaft to the exhaust pipe.

IMPORTANT:  Do not let the two-piece shaft separate.

Remove the Front Drive Shafts

1.

Remove the six bolts (per side) that attach the drive shafts to the differential housing (see Figure 2).

2.

Separate the drive shafts from the differential housing.

Remove the Differential Housing

1.

Remove the four bolts (per side) that attach the differential housing to the mounting brackets (see Figure 3).

2.

Use a transmission jack to lower and remove the differential housing.

Install the Engine Heater

1.

Drain the coolant.

2.

Remove the lower radiator hose. Remove the lower hose engine heater.

3.

Install a new lower radiator hose. See the Parts Information table.
