SERVICE INFORMATION
This is not considered a product campaign; normal warranty conditions apply. Please refer to your current Flat Rate Schedule (FRI).
If a 1996-98 Pathfinder appears to have an uneven ride height when parked on a flat surface, the left front spring may be compressed more than the right
spring due to unequal suspension weight distribution.
A countermeasure left front spring is available to resolve this condition. Use this bulletin to diagnose and repair the vehicle.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Verify that the inflation pressure in the tires is at the proper level (26 psi for all tires).
2.
Position the vehicle (with no occupants or cargo) on a flat surface.
3.
Measure the distance between the ground and the highest point of the front wheel well arch (see Figure 1).
