Check the clips on the sun shade assembly that was removed in Step 1. If these clips are broken or deformed, install a new sun shade assembly
(see the Parts Information Section of this bulletin for detail).
9.
Slowly open and close the sun shade assembly 10-20 times. This will help press the front slider shades down.
10.
Confirm that the front slider shades are not curling at the ends.
11.
Confirm that the sun shade closes easily.
NOTE:
If it is difficult to close the sun shade, apply a small amount of grease to the sun roof rails and bracket.
If the sun shade moves too easily when closing, remove excess grease from the sun roof rails and bracket.
12.
Re-install the headliner.
