Maximum torque variation is 0.4 Nm (3.5 inch lbs.)

Outside the above range:

Maximum force variation is 0.6 Nm (5.2 inch lbs.) 

NOTE:  If pinion rotating torque is not within specifications, readjust it starting from step 4. If pinion rotating torque is still out of specifications
after readjustment, replace steering gear assembly.
