5TH GEAR SYNCHRONIZER HUB SHIFTING INSERTS

SERVICE INFORMATION

This Technical Bulletin is to advise that the Service Manuals (Page MT-4) of the 1981-1984 Maxima/810/910, 1981-1983 280ZX, 1981-1983 200SX
and 1983-1985 720 Trucks incorrectly shows the placement of the 5th speed shifting inserts. Please note the following correction to the placement of the
shifting inserts in the appropriate manuals. The raised portion of the inserts should be towards the insert retainer (see illustration).
