SERVICE INFORMATION

The turn signals of some 1985 720 Trucks may cancel early. To correct this condition on incident vehicles, use the following procedure to install a 
combination switch spacer (P/N 25162-80W00).

Steering Wheel and Steering Column

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the steering wheel and steering column covers (lower and upper).

2.

Loosen the combination switch retaining screw.

Install the combination switch spacer as shown below.

4.

Tighten the retaining screw while making sure the protrusion on the switch clamp is in the hole on the jacket tube.

5.

Install the steering column covers and steering wheel.  See Section ST of the 1985 720 Service Manual for installation procedures.
