Water Pump: Service and Repair

For Vans only, remove the passenger`s seat and under-seat access cover. Lift up and secure driver's seat and access hatch.

1. Drain coolant. The coolant drain for all models is located at the bottom of the radiator.
2. Remove the fan shroud and fan blade assembly.
3. On trucks, leaving both radiator hoses attached, carefully lift up the radiator and put down on top of the air cleaner assembly. Be careful not to
damage the radiator. On Vans, remove the radiator.
4. Remove any other belts as necessary to gain access to the water pump. Then remove the pump as shown in the figure.

5. Reverse procedure to install.
