Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove screws securing package tray, then remove tray.

3.

On models without A/C, remove duct to heater case.

4.

Disconnect control cable and wiring harness connectors to air intake housing.

5.

Remove 2 nuts securing air intake housing, then remove housing assembly, Fig. 3.

6.

Remove screws securing blower motor to housing, then remove motor and fan assembly.

7.

Reverse procedure to install, then adjust air intake control cable.
