Remove transfer case underguard.

Measure the distance V (see Figure 6) with a straightedge, using the transfer case as a reference surface. Distance V is the vertical offset of
two corresponding U-joints, one on each end of the propeller shaft.

Install shims of a thickness equal to distance V between transfer case mounting bracket-to-frame (both ends of longitudinal member), for right
side transfer mount, and between single bracket and frame for left side transfer mount. The dealer should make the shims from stock, not to
exceed 10mm thickness (see Figure 7).
