WINDOW ADJUSTMENT CHECKING PROCEDURE

APPLIED MODEL: 1987-1988 Pulsar NX

SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin is a supplement to Technical Bulletin BF87-020(TS87-075), and contains a procedure to verify the critical window adjustments required to
prevent repeat customer complaints of wind noise and water leaks caused by the side window contacting the window glass stopper. Use the checking
procedure found on page 2/2 of this bulletin to ensure that window adjustment is correct when making any window adjustment.

NOTE:
The specifications listed in this bulletin are modified from the specifications in bulletin BF87-020, and should be used when making any window
adjustment. Please update bulletin BF87-020 by hand to show the modified specifications.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Two critical adjustments must be made to correct specification to ensure that the window will not contact the glass stopper when the door is closed.
These are:

a.

Window height

b.

Window tilt angle

NOTE:
Refer to Technical Bulletin BF87-020 (TS87-075), pages 2 through 4, for the actual adjustment procedure.

CAUTION:
Before adjusting the window, make sure that the window glass stopper has not been bent down due to the window hitting the outside of the stopper. If the
stopper is bent down, it can be bent back up by hand so that the top of the stopper is contacting the outer edge of the T-top.
