Place reverse synchronizer assembly on 5th input gear.

Mesh recesses of 5th input gear with projections of reverse synchronizer cone.

d.

Hook insert springs on reverse baulk ring.

NOTE:

be sure insert springs are positioned between 5th gear baulk ring teeth sets.

e.

Install coupling sleeve onto 5th input gear/reverse assembly.

f.

Install synchronizer hub onto 5th input gear/reverse assembly.

g.

Press on 5th synchronizer assembly with 5th input gear.

NOTE:

be sure notches are fully aligned before pressing.
