Using a utility knife, carefully cut the evaporator case foam seal at the seam of the upper and lower evaporator case (see Figure 3).

D.

Disassemble the A/C blower/evaporator assembly and remove the evaporator core (see Figure 4).

E.

Slowly peel the existing evaporator core seal away from the evaporator core and discard the seal.

F.

Insure the evaporator core inlet and outlet tubes are securely sealed so liquid cannot enter.

G.

With the A/C evaporator core assembly on a work bench, clean the outside surface of the core using a diluted mixture of anti-bacterial soap
and water (one part soap to one part water).  Rinse with clean water and allow the core to dry.

H.

Remove debris from inside the A/C blower/evaporator case assemblies (see Figure 4).

I.

With the A/C blower/evaporator case assemblies on a work bench, use a cloth to wipe the inside of the case assemblies with a diluted
mixture of anti-bacterial soap and water (one part soap to one part water).  Then, using a cloth containing clean water only, wipe the case
assemblies again to remove any soap residue (see Figure 4).  Allow the case assemblies to dry.
