Parking Brake Cable: Testing and Inspection

Checking Brake Lines and Cables

CAUTION:  If leakage occurs around joints, retighten or, if necessary, replace damaged parts.

1. Check brake fluid lines and parking brake cables for improper attachment, leaks, chafing, abrasions and deterioration. 
2. Check for oil leakage by fully depressing brake pedal while engine is running.
