Door/Trunk Ajar Indicator/Lamp: Description and Operation
DOOR AJAR WARNING LAMP
When a door is open, ground is supplied to the smart entrance control unit at terminals 9, 24, 34 or 41.
Ground is then supplied
-
to combination meter terminal 29
-
from smart entrance control unit terminal 14.
With power and ground supplied, the door ajar warning lamp illuminates.
