IF YOU CONFIRM:
The Family Entertainment System Video Monitor is inoperative in an applied vehicle.
ACTION:

Remove the Video Monitor Assembly from the vehicle.
^
Check the Video Monitor Assembly wire harness for damage.
^
Disassemble the Video Monitor Assembly and repair the harness (if needed).
^
Modify the Video Monitor Housing and Rear Cover to provide additional clearance for the wire harness.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
NOTE:
Before starting the Service Procedure:

Try to operate the Video System Monitor to make sure it is inoperative.
^
Refer to section 4 of the Owner's Manual for Video System Monitor operating instructions.
Remove Video Monitor Assembly from Vehicle:
1.
Fold the Video Monitor down.
2.
Remove the two screws that secure the Video Monitor Assembly to the vehicle's roof.
3.
Carefully pull down on the rear of the Video Monitor Assembly to release one clip. Then pull rearward and lower the unit to access the wire
harness connector.
