If a "slapping" noise is heard against the windshield of an applied 1999 Quest while the vehicle is being driven, the cause may be the molding coming
loose from the A-pillar windshield finisher (see Figure 1).

To resolve the incident use the following Service Procedure to replace the affected A-pillar windshield finisher with the part specified in the Parts
Information section of this bulletin.
