1998 QUEST FUEL GAUGE INCORRECT/INACCURATE READINGS

This amended version of NTB98-109 updates information in the Parts Information and Claims Information sections. Please discard previous distributed
copies of NTB98-109.

SERVICE INFORMATION

If the fuel gauge on a 1998 Quest either drops too quickly from full to 3/4, or reads 3/4 when the fuel tank is full, the cause may be the fuel gauge sender.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the fuel gauge sender with the new unit listed below.  Refer to page FE-6 of the 1998 Quest Service Manual.

WARNING:  

Observe all necessary precautions when working on the fuel tank.
