Submit a Primary Failed Part (PP) line claim using the claims coding table above.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the console finisher assembly using a trim tool.

Refer to section IP in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for removal procedure.

2.

Cut 9 0.39" - 0.59" long x 0.19" wide (10-15 mm long x 5 mm wide) strips of the squeak and rattle tape.

3.

Using a needle nose plier, put tape from the squeak and rattle kit on the outer edge of the 9 ribs located underneath the upper half of the console
finisher assembly as shown in Figure 2.

NOTE:

Some models only have 7 ribs.

4.

Install the console finisher assembly in reverse order of removal.

5.

Check to make sure the issue has been resolved.
