Service Procedure

1. Remove the fuel pump assembly from the vehicle. Refer to the applicable Electronic Service Manual (ESM) section for cautions and removal
instructions.

2. Remove the fuel gauge sender unit from the fuel pump assembly as follows (it will be removed one piece at a time):

CAUTION:

Notice wire routing before removal. This is to be sure they do not interfere with the float arm and/or spring after replacement.
