IGNITION COIL, SPARK PLUG AND ROCKER COVER

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove air duct and resonator assembly. 
2. Remove electric throttle control actuator without disconnecting water hose. 
3. Loosen intake manifold mounting bolts and nuts.
4. Remove intake manifold.
5. Disconnect harness connector from ignition coil.
6. Support the bottom surface of engine using a transmission jack.
7. Remove ground cable and harness from engine mounting bracket (RH).
8. Remove ignition coil.

CAUTION:

Never drop or shock ignition coil.

Never disassemble ignition coil.

9. Disconnect PCV hose from rocker cover.

10. Remove engine mounting bracket (RH). 
11. Remove PCV valve and O-ring from rocker cover, if necessary.
12. Remove oil filler cap from rocker cover, if necessary.
