PRIMARY SPEED SENSOR

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery cable from negative terminal.

2. Disconnect primary speed sensor connector (A).
3. Remove primary speed sensor.
4. Remove O-ring from primary speed sensor.

INSTALLATION

Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal. 

CAUTION:

Never reuse O-ring.

Apply CVT fluid to O-ring.

Inspection

After completing installation, check for CVT fluid leakage and check CVT fluid level. Refer to TM-160, "Inspection". See: Service and
Repair/Procedures/Inspection
