Remove the clips/bolt and drop the engine lower cover to reach the catalytic converter / front exhaust tube (see Figure 4).

For the following steps: Apply some Genuine Nissan Rust Penetrant P/N 999MP-A3020P (or equivalent) to the bolts to help with removal.

Remove three bolts and remove the heat shield from the catalytic converter (see Figure 5).

Remove the two support bracket bolts from the catalytic converter. Then, loosen (only) the support bracket bolt that goes into the A/C compressor
mounting bracket (see Figure 6).
