INTRODUCTION

Nissan has determined that on some 2003-2004 model year Nissan Sentra vehicles equipped with the 1.8 liter engine with California emissions, there is a
possibility that the catalytic converter may have deteriorated excessively resulting in an increase in exhaust emissions. This may also result in the

free of charge.

The number of vehicles potentially affected is approximately 39,000.
