CLUTCH DISC, CLUTCH COVER AND FLYWHEEL

NOTE: The following operations are with manual transaxle removed.

Inspection and Adjustment

CLUTCH DISC

Check the clutch disc for wear on the facing surface at the rivets as shown.
Wear limit of facing surface to : 0.3 mm (0.012 inch) rivet head

Check the clutch disc for backlash on the spline and runout on the facing.
Maximum backlash of spline (at outer edge of disc): 0.9 mm (0.035 inch)
Runout limit: 1.0 mm (0.039 inch)
Distance of runout check point (from hub center): 102.5 mm (4.04 inch)

Check the clutch disc for burns, discoloration, and oil or grease leakage. Replace if necessary.
