LOW PRESSURE HOSE CLAMP INSTALLATION

After the A/C low pressure hose is installed, be certain to secure the hose with the correct clamp, either to the strut tower (non-power steering vehicles),
or to the power steering reservoir bracket (power steering vehicles). It is critical to install the clamp to prevent the hose from rubbing on the engine
mount, which will cause a hole and lead to A/C system failure. Refer to the illustration.

As the hose is being installed, install the clamp loosely onto the hose. Secure the clamp tightly after the hose is hand-tightened to the evaporator and
torqued to the compressor. Power steering vehicles use a two-piece clamp and bracket which secures to the power steering reservoir bracket. Non-power
steering vehicles use a one-piece clamp which secures to the strut tower. Refer to the installation manual for the complete procedure.

PART NUMBER INFORMATION:

The 19 mm O-ring can be replaced with part number 92477-N8200. All O-rings which apply to Nissan A/C systems are available in the A/C Service
Component Kit, part number 999A1-A6001.
