Intake Air Collector: Service and Repair

Intake Manifold And Collector

Refer to illustration for removal and replacement procedure. Mark all electrical connectors for reference during installation. Thoroughly clean all sealing
surfaces and replace all gaskets.

Intake Manifold And Collector Torque Sequences

Tighten intake manifold and collector to 12 - 15 ft-lb (16 - 20 Nm) using the torque sequence illustrated.

Throttle Chamber Torque Sequences

Torque throttle chamber fasteners in sequence using the following torque:

Step 1  6.5 - 8 ft-lb (9 - 11 Nm)
Step 2  13 - 16 ft-lb (18 - 22 Nm)
