Ignition Resistor: Testing and Inspection

Ignition Resistor Test

1.

Disconnect the resistor harness connector.

2.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals as shown in the image.

RESISTANCE:

Approximately 2.2 K ohm

3.

Replace the resistor if it fails the test.
