1. Loosen throttle cable nuts A and B on engine side, Fig. 2.
2. With throttle drum set at P1 (fully open), move fitting Q fully in direction T and torque nut B in direction U, Fig. 3, to 5.8-7.2 ft.lbs.
3. While holding throttle drum at P1, back off on nut B 1 to 1 1/2 turns, then torque nut A to 5.8-7.2 ft. lbs.
4. Ensure throttle cable stroke L is 1.079-1.236 inches between full throttle and idle, Fig. 4.
