Measure this sash channel opening at its narrowest point. If less than 14.8 mm, bend the channel open to a MAXIMUM of 15.5 mm.

Install the glass run rubber back into window channel. Make sure glass run rubber seats securely in the channel or the window effort will
remain high.

Note:
Use soapy water as a lubricant on back side of the glass run rubber if it is difficult to seat in its channel.

a)

Install run rubber into upper rear corner of B-pillar and work downward to lower B-pillar.

b)

Align and insert run rubber into lower front corner (A-pillar).

c)

Work run rubber into channel, from lower to upper A-pillar.

d)

Finish by working run rubber into channel from top of B-pillar corner to top of A-pillar corner.

CAUTION:
Do not get any adhesive sealer from the vapor barrier on the glass run rubber.

Re-install the outside door waist molding to the outer door skin.

Install side mirror and triangular mirror base.

Check glass curvature, using a straight edge and a feeler gauge. Find the proper feeler gauge thickness in the gap between the glass and the
straight edge.

2 door: 2.3 mm +/- 1.0 mm 
4 door: 2.0 mm +/- 1.0 mm

Note:
Glass with too much curvature contributes more to window effort than glass with minimal curvature. If the glass is out of specification replace it.

Install glass into the window and door assembly and back onto the regulator carrier plate.

27.

Cycle window up and down to see if the effort is acceptable and if the glass run was installed correctly.

28.

Remove crank handle from shaft.

29.

Press vapor barrier against door metal.
