WINDOW - HARD TO CLOSE

APPLIED MODEL:
1991-92 Sentra (B13)

SERVICE INFORMATION:

On some 1991-92 Sentra vehicles, customers may complain of difficulty in rolling up the nonpower windows. The following procedure may resolve the
high closing effort of the front and rear windows.

This procedure may be applied to both front and rear doors, unless specific 2-Door application is indicated.

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1.

Clean door window glass.

2.

Cycle the window up and down to determine the position of the window when the effort is greatest.

3.

Observe the outside waist molding. Does it roll under as the glass is rolled down? If so, the waist opening of the door metal needs to be
measured once the interior door trim panel is removed.

4.

Removing interior door trim panel:

a)

Use a flat-blade screwdriver to remove plastic inside release handle escutcheon.

b)

Remove the C-clip from the window crank handle.
