VCM VALVE WARRANTY INFORMATION CHANGE, 1985 TECHNICAL BULLETIN BOOK

Technical Bulletin EF85-018 (TS85-150) on page EF-45 of the 1985 Technical Bulletin Book describes VCM valve and filter replacement for Federal
Sentra/Pulsar NX models. Please change the Warranty Information of this bulletin as described below.

WARRANTY INFORMATION CHANGES

1.

Cross out the current CS code (9Y).

2.

Add the following note to the Warranty Information:

"Refer to Section C (Fuel System) in the Warranty Flat Manual for applicable CS code."

NOTE:

CS code 9Y is no longer applicable.

NOTE:

The cap and rotor of a Mitsubishi distributor are not interchangeable with the cap and rotor of a Hitachi distributor.

The Mitsubishi and Hitachi logos are located on top of the distributor cap and are shown below for your reference.
