Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

NOTE:
The steering angle sensor is and integrated part of the spiral cable and must be replaced as an assembly.
1. Remove the spiral cable.  See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Perform the neutral position adjustment for the steering angle sensor.  See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
