KEY INTERLOCK CABLE

Removal and Installation

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL
Refer to the figure for key interlock cable removal procedure.

CAUTION:
Make sure that parking brake is applied before removal/installation.
1. Place the selector lever in the "N" position.
2. Remove the selector lever handle.  See: Shifter CVT/Service and Repair/Selector Lever Handle.
3. Remove the IP center assembly.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Component

4. Slide the slider (A) toward the casing cap (B) while pressing tabs
(C) on the slider to separate the slider (A) from the adjust holder
