REMOVAL
1. Remove battery.  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.
2. Remove air cleaner and air duct.  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner

Housing/Service and Repair/Removal And Installation.

3. Remove shift cable from shift lever as shown.
