TCM

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:
When replacing TCM and transaxle assembly as a set, replace transaxle assembly first and then replace TCM.  See: Continuously Variable
Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Service After Replacing TCM, Transaxle Assembly, Or Control
Valve.
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2. Remove the fresh air intake tube (upper).  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner

Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service and Repair/Component See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Removal And Installation.

3. Disconnect the TCM harness connector.
4. Remove the TCM (1).

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
