Throttle Drum and Linkage Adjustment

 Accelerator-drum Unit

Adjust Accelerator-Drum Unit whenever the Accelerator-drum unit, throttle chamber and/or accelerator-drum unit rod are installed or reinstalled.

1. Install accelerator-drum unit and throttle chamber.
2. Apply grease all over the inside of rod coupling.
3. Insert each one coupling to ball links of throttle chamber and accelerator-drum unit.
4. Loosen adjusting screw locknut.
5. Loose adjusting screw.
6. Manually turn accelerator-drum until throttle valve is fully open. Ensure that stopper lever is not touching adjusting screw.
7. Turn adjusting screw until it touches stopper lever
8. Back off accelerator-drum unit.
9. Turn adjusting screw three rotations clockwise.

10. Tighten locknut.
