2000 SENTRA REMOVING FRONT AND REAR DOOR PULL FINISHERS

APPLIED VEHICLES:
2000 Sentra (B15)

SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin provides steps for proper removal of front and rear door pull finishers on 2000 Sentra vehicles. Following the procedure in this bulletin will
minimize damage to the finisher clips, finishers, and/or other nearby components.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Insert a plastic pry tool at the rear section of the pull finisher (see Figure 1).

2.

Lift the finisher straight up at rear to release the rear attachment clip (see Figure 1).

3.

When the finisher is fully released at the rear clip, continue to pull upward at the rear of the finisher to release it completely.

CAUTION:

Do not pry up at the front of the finisher. This may cause damage to the front finisher clips, the finisher, or surrounding components.

4.

To reinstall the finisher, place it flat on top of the armrest.

5.

Press down on the front of the finisher until the front attachment clip snaps into place.

6.

Press down on the middle of the finisher on both sides to snap the middle clips into place.
