Valve Clearance: Specifications

Whenever valve clearances are adjusted to cold specifications, check that the clearances satisfy hot specifications and adjust again if necessary.

Intake

For Adjusting

Hot

0.32 - 0.40 mm 

Cold

0.25 - 0.33 mm 

At a temperature of approximately 20 deg C (reference data)

For Checking

Hot

0.21 - 0.47 mm 

Exhaust For Adjusting

Hot

0.37 - 0.45 mm 

Cold

0.32 - 0.40 mm 

At a temperature of approximately 20 deg C (reference data)

For Checking

Hot

0.30 - 0.56 mm
